These photos are from two plantings of cucumbers, one that was its best in July, and another that I harvested mainly in September. For both, I started with seeds. For the earlier planting I had a pickling type ‘H-19 Little Leaf.’ For the second planting I had a slicing variety, ‘Corinto,’ plus a lemon cucumber — a type that really does look a little like a lemon. They were all good. It took me awhile to get used to the appearance of the lemon cucumbers, but they were tasty and compared to the others I thought they were especially crisp.
