Here are a few photos from this winter.
First, here is my last harvest of the winter. This photo was taken on 12/21, so these greens lasted until almost Christmas!
We planted a cover crop of daikon and red and white clover, which took hold pretty well. Here are a few of those plants peeking up through the snow.
And this is one of several large logs in the garden (I use them to help guide garden hoses around corners.) During the summer, it sprouted polypore mushrooms, which were actually pretty cool looking. Unintended decoration! And they’re still hanging on: Here’s how they look in the snow.
