A few pods are starting to appear on the soybean plants. It’s not going to be a big harvest, but I think we’ll be able to have one big bowl of edamame (green soybeans) sometime in the near future. From previous years, I’m remembering that this is pretty much how these plants work anyway. Once the soybean pods are ready, they’re more or less all ready at once and you can do one big harvest. As opposed to the regular green beans, which just keep growing, and I just keep picking them. And hey, that works for me too.
