Green Blackberries

We have two young blackberry plants growing in the backyard, which look like they may produce a handful of berries this year. (Literally a handful: This photo shows half the crop.) Next year should be a bigger year. In the meantime, it’s interesting to watch how they grow. They’re not very pretty as they’re ripening, are they?

  1. I think most fruit is an investment or time and money. Well worth it though – you just have to be patient. I’ve got some raspberry canes and they are much slower than I expected in the growing department.
