Milkweed for Monarchs

I went to a plant sale yesterday with butterfly friendly plants, and came home with two kinds of milkweed– Sullivant’s milkweed, and common milkweed. Very curious to see how it does. The sale was a fundraiser for Monarch Watch, an organization that studies monarch butterflies and has been working to restore their habitat. They encourage people to plant backyard butterfly gardens with milkweed and other plants that monarchs depend on. Here’s the link to their website for much more information: monarchwatch.org/bring-back-the-monarchs/
